Yacht & Crew
Dutch crew
Gerard was born and raised on the water, so to speak, and never left this initial ‘dive’ in life. He started off as a windsurfing instructor and later became an experienced sailor. He has always had challenging plans, which could be described with words such as “crossing the Atlantic” and “fighting the four elements”. As Germaine became an undeniable part of his world, the keywords of their life together became “sail yacht”, “Mediterranean Sea” and “enjoying the four elements”. On land Gerard has been a successful freelance journalist for quite some time. He will probably never be able to retire from his witty writing skills, which is why he has his Sailor’s Log. Unfortunately this log is written in Dutch, but we are more than willing to help you translate it or teach you some basics in Dutch, should you be interested. Dirk (pronounced: Dirk with i as in fit), our female and loyal dog, with a much too friendly character to have any other dog-qualities. Needless to say her job description is merely sleeping and playing with a ball in the water. This three-year-old is everybody’s friend and makes life on board so very cheerful. She is as vigilant as a tame rabbit with fear of abandonment. Lucky for her, the Mediterranean Sea is one of the safest ones in the world.
Home on the water
Besides a master suite, this yacht offers four decent and comfortable double cabins, all with a private toilet and hand shower. The yacht has been completely modified to meet all passengers' needs and wishes. There is plenty of room to seek some privacy, read a book, relax and sunbathe. The GanGan offers enough space for a party of eight people excluding the crew.
During our sailing holidays in Greece and Turkey, we sail as much is possible! Length: 66 feet
