Programme

Day 1 Bus transfer from Antalya airport to Demre yacht harbour. Captain Ali

and his crew will welcome you aboard with a drink or cocktail and introduce

you to the boat. You will have dinner and spend the night in Demre harbour.

Day 2 After breakfast we will lift anchor and leave Demre habour. We will

cruise along the beautiful coast to Gökkaya Bay, with its spectacular deep, blue water. Here you can sunbathe and swim or you can just sit in the shade on the after-deck until dinner is served. We can also help to organize several water sports. Next we set sail towards Simena, where we will see the impressive sunken city. Next we will visit the island of Kekova where you can explore the ancient hill-top castle and buy great souvenirs for the people who stayed at home.  We will then moor in the beautiful bay of Üçagiz where we will eat dinner. You can take an evening dip in the water and then head off to bed or stay up and gaze at the stars.

Day 3 In the early morning while you are still sleeping, Captain Ali will cruise to the idyllic town of Kas. In ancient times this town was better known as Antiphellos and it is one of the most picturesque fishing villages in this Lycian part of Turkey. After breakfast we can take a walk through the winding, cobblestone streets and peek into the little shops, bars and restaurants. You can shop hassle-free as Kas is very charming and the shopkeepers are not intrusive, which is in contrast to the large tourist areas.

On Fridays we can go to the market where there will be numerous spices, clothes and jewellery on display. For those of you who really want to be pampered we can arrange a Hamam, a traditional Turkish bath. Here you will get a total body scrub and a wonderful soap massage. When you are finished, you will feel like a newborn baby. We can also arrange a visit to the hairdresser where the men get an old-fashioned shave with massage and the ladies can get a wash, blow-dry and massage. We will then spend the night in a quiet bay near Kekova.

Day 4 Today is a good day for people who like to snorkle. We set course to Aquarium-bay and our sailor Musti will catch some fishes and he will teach us how to snorkle. The fish will be bbq-t on land and you probably have never eaten it this fresh!

We will visit Aperlai and we can make a nice walk over there.

Day 5 We set course to Üçagiz, an authentic, Turkish village. You can find little shops with carpets, hand knotted tablecloths and beautiful, silver jewellery. In several places you can smoke a water pipe filled with apple, cherry or melon tobacco. Or you can also choose to just take a walk through the beautiful countryside. After our afternoon tea we will sail to a nice, bay near Kekova where we will spend the night.

Day 6 After breakfast and swimming, we set course towards Gökkaya Bay. On the way, we will make swimming stops at Pirate’s Cave where you can swim into the huge cave and at Coldwater bay, where you can swim in fresh, cool spring water. Afterwards we will continue to Gökkaya Bay where we will spend the night. In the evening you can choose to motorboat to Smugglers Inn, which is a unique, little bar on a secluded bay. You can lounge here with a cocktail, sit around the campfire or dance the night away. We will spend the night at Gökkaya Bay.

Day 7 After breakfast we set course for Demre harbour. After lunch you can go and see the ruin’s of Myra and visit the St. Nicholas Church, which is world-famous because the one and only St.Nicholas was bishop here in the 4th century. We have dinner and spend the night in Demre harbour.

Day 8 Our lovely week together is coming to an end, but you still have more chances to dive into the refreshing water. In the morning after breakfast we say goodbye. Our transfer bus will take you to the airport or to your hotel.
