Aegean Dreams - Cultural and History combined in one cruise
A week of sailing and culture combined. We will explore and visit the wonders of Turkey. During our land trips you will experience Turkey's great history. We are going to visit the Roman and Ottoman Empire.

Put your own group together with a minimum of 6 and we hoist the sails!
arrival en check in onboard and welcome-cocktail. Meet the other passengers and getting aquintant with each other. There will plenty of time to rest or to swim.
Early in the morning the captain will raise the sails en we are heading for the ancient city of Didim. This holey place is since centuries connected thru the holey road with the city of Milete. We will visit the ruins of the temple from Apollo. Afterwards we will go to the city of Milete en visit the theater dating from the Greek period. It could host aprox 20.000 spectators, please pay attention on the lion-claws in the corners. The theater gives a spectacular view, overlooking the city!
When time permits us, we can visit Priene on the way back.
This day we will spend visiting Ephesus, its one of the highlights of Turkey, beautiful nature combined with this history. Virgan Mary lived in this place, we will visit her house. This day you will be accompanied by a professional guide, to make sure don’t miss a thing!
Today our heading is Gumusluk, called in the past Myndos. Its one of our favorite harbors due to its unique surrounding, it’s one of the few natural harbors. In Gumusluk you will find the most famous fish restaurants, all fresh catch! We will visit Gumusluk Mosk , the old bathhouse, gumusluk a very small village with a great history!
Today we sail to Knidos, in the daytime while sailing, you can read your book or rest. In the evening we will enter Knidos. This antique city is the meeting point of the Aegean and Mediterranean sea and was once a very important city for traders and sailors. Our visit will cover the most parts of Knidos and during sunset we will serve a glass of wine (traditional taste) and while having your glass of wine you will enjoy a very nice sunset, exactly the same way as hundreds of years ago!
After breakfast the captain and his crew hoist the sails en we are heading for Bodrum, this day will be a relaxing one, in the bays you can swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters. There will be enough time for a walk to explore the surrounding, the choice is yours. Evening diner will be a BBQ and with some luck maybe some fish, catch of the day!
After breakfast we go to Bodrum city, we will visit St. Peters castle en we will visit all the 4 musea. the castle had a strategic purpose in the past and the guide will tell some great stories about this period.
After the visit you can explore and shop in Bodrum and even have a taste of the nightlife, the captain knows the places to go to.
After breakfast time has come to say goodbye, the transfer bus will bring you to the airport or to your extension hotel.
Stay on board, sharing a cabin with max 2pers. per cabin and All Inclusive stay: The Turkish breakfast consists of the beautiful white Turkish bread, slices of tomatoes
and cucumbers, fresh seasonal fruit (water/honey melon or oranges), black or green olives,
white cheese, yellow cheese, jam or honey, eggs, butter, fresh Turkish tea and coffee.
Five o'clock tea and coffee is served with biscuits and/or cakes.
Lunch and dinner consist of delicious vegetarian dishes, healthy Mediterranean salads,
fish or meat dishes (dinner) and of course fresh Turkish bread.
Dinner is followed by fresh seasonal fruit or Turkish deserts like baklava. One diner goes own land at own cost.
Whole day the crew serves:
Coffee, tea, water, Cola, Cola light, Fanta, Sprite, several fruit juices, rose, red and white wine, beer and several liquors like raki, vodka and gin-tonic.
All (bus) transfers - From and to the airport and for all land excursions.
